Oluwadamilare Oladeji biography
Oluwadamilare Oladeji is a distinguished investment strategist and asset management leader with a formidable track record of driving innovation and profitability in the global financial markets. As a Director & CIO at Erad Partners, he brings a wealth of expertise in proprietary trading, risk management, and portfolio optimization, underpinned by a career spanning financial institutions and entrepreneurial ventures.
His foundational experience was forged at Ecobank Nigeria Limited, subsidiary of ETI, a world-class pan African institution with a vast presence across Sub-Saharan Africa. During his tenure, he rose to the position of Head of Proprietary Trading (Chief Dealer), where he led a high-performing team and was responsible for trading activities across fixed income, foreign exchange, and interest rate markets. His strategic acumen was instrumental in driving significant revenue growth for the bank, achieving trading revenues exceeding N7.4 billion ($16 million) in 2022.
Earlier at Ecobank, as Head of Fixed Income Trading, Oluwadamilare managed a $400 million portfolio, consistently outperforming targets and solidifying the bank's position as a top-tier market player. His expertise in asset-liability management and his ability to design innovative hedging and funding strategies were critical to mitigating risk and maximizing returns.
Oluwadamilare is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds an MSc in Finance from Leeds Beckett University and a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from London South Bank University. He has also completed the Global Executive Academy (GEA) from MIT Sloan School of Management.
